AI Enablement for Irish Organisations

Practical AI training. Measurable results.

Hands-on AI enablement for Irish SMEs, semi-states, and NGOs - built around your tools, your tasks, and a measurable outcome.

Why it matters
9%

of Irish organisations have broad AI adoption, compared to 52% of their US counterparts. The window to lead is now.

PwC Ireland 2026

2×

more likely to report significant AI ROI - organisations with mature, structured AI literacy upskilling programmes.

#1

barrier to AI adoption is insufficient worker skills - above technology, budget, and leadership. Not the tools. The people.

Deloitte, State of AI in the Enterprise, 2026

Where most AI training falls short

Your team already has access to AI tools - many built into software you already pay for. The real barrier is not the technology. It is fear, uncertainty, and not knowing where to start.

01

Fear stops adoption

People worry AI will replace them or that they need to be engineers to use it. Without someone showing them how simple these tools actually are, the tools stay unused.

02

Training does not show the real value

Generic courses teach generic workflows. Your team needs to see AI working on their tasks - the emails they write, the spreadsheets they build, the reports they pull together. That is when they actually want to use it.

03

You are not getting ROI on tools you already bought

You have invested in software - Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and more. Many come with AI capabilities included. If your team does not know how to use them, you are paying for features you are not getting value from.

Three phases. Clear outcomes.

We assess before we build, deliver in plain English, and measure what changed.

Phase 01 - Discover

Understand before we begin

Before any training happens, we sit down with your leadership to understand your tool landscape, your workflows, and the range of skills across your team. We find out what AI access you already have, what your people actually do day to day, and where the biggest opportunities are. No assumptions. No generic programmes.

Phase 02 - Enable

Hands-on, in plain English

Sessions are built around real tasks from your team's actual work. We draw on the room - getting people working with the tools live, on the things they do every day. No jargon, no slides full of theory. Just practical, confidence-building enablement that makes AI feel accessible to everyone in the room.

Phase 03 - Measure

Report what changed

We capture a baseline before we begin and collect data on time savings and adoption after delivery. Using the IAQA framework - Impact, Adoption, Quality, and Activity - we calculate ROI in real terms and report back at 30 and 90 days. Something concrete to bring to leadership.

Common questions

Do our staff need any technical background to take part?
No - but it is not a barrier if they do. Programmes are designed for non-technical teams who have never opened an AI tool, but we also work with more technically literate teams who want to go deeper into specific workflows or automation. Sessions are tailored to the room.
We already have Microsoft 365. Do we need to buy anything else?
In most cases, no. Microsoft 365 includes Copilot, and many other tools your team already uses have AI built in. A big part of what we do is show people how to get value from tools they are already paying for but not using fully.
How do you measure whether it has worked?
We use the IAQA method - measuring Impact, Adoption, Quality, and Activity. Before any training begins we establish a baseline. After delivery we track what changed across all four dimensions, and you receive a written report so you can see exactly what shifted and build the internal case for further investment.
Can funding help cover the cost?
Possibly. Private sector SMEs may be eligible for LEO supports or the Enterprise Ireland Digital Transition Fund, which covers up to €35,000 at 50% co-funding. Skillnet Ireland subsidised training is available to private sector and commercial semi-state businesses. Skillnet does not apply to charities or publicly funded bodies. Get in touch and we will confirm what applies to your organisation.
How long does a typical programme take to deliver?
The Introduction Workshop is a half day. The Foundation Programme runs across several sessions over a number of weeks. The Enablement Programme is scoped per engagement and typically runs over one to three months. All delivery is planned around your team's schedule so normal operations are not disrupted.
Do you travel outside Dublin?
Yes. For shorter engagements, travel across Ireland is included in the programme cost. For longer onsite programmes, travel and expenses are scoped as part of the engagement. We will always be upfront about what is included before anything is agreed.

About

Aaron Doran

Founder, Unlock AI Ireland

AI works. Most people just haven't been shown how.

Irish SMEs have a genuine opportunity in front of them - and most are not taking it. The tools are there, the potential is real, and the gap between where organisations are today and where they could be is almost never about technology. It is about people not being shown, in plain terms and in the context of their actual work, what AI can do for them. That gap is what this business exists to close. AI is one of the most significant force multipliers available to small and medium organisations right now, and the window to get ahead of it is open.

Every programme is built around the workflows, tools, and tasks of the specific team in the room - not a generic curriculum recycled from one organisation to the next. Measurement is built into every engagement from the start, using the IAQA framework: Impact, Adoption, Quality, and Activity. A baseline is established before delivery begins, and what changes is tracked and reported at 30 and 90 days. The result is a clear picture of what shifted - in how people work, how often they use the tools, and what it is worth in euros.

Aaron brings over 11 years of training and enablement experience across global technology, regulated, and high-growth environments. His experience with AI is not theoretical - he has worked inside AI companies, managed the enablement of teams training AI systems across 19 partner sites worldwide, and currently leads AI enablement programmes at one of Europe's fastest-growing HR technology companies. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching from the National College of Ireland.

Over 11 years across Meta, Dataminr, Personio and more. Postgraduate Certificate in Statistics, Trinity College Dublin. Postgraduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching, National College of Ireland.
